Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Practiced the compression tests, ECT’s and PCT’s. Repeated several CTE 10 tap resistant planer fracture. The ECTs were an ECTN 10 no propagation. The PCT’s did nothing. The very thin weak layer was about 15 cm above the rain crust from the prior weekend. There was about 40 cm of snow above the week layer. The cake was upright. Sorry about not taking photos.
