Small 50 degree west facing slope near mount Baker ski area. We were traversing on skins and triggered small slide, 5 m crown, 30 m runout

Observations

We skinned a little past artist point from Heather Meadows starting at 830am. We did several laps of 25-38 degree lines dropping down to Bagley lakes, all west aspect. No signs of instability while skiing or skinning
About 20 cm of fresh powder on crust, and at times high winds with low visibility

On the way out around 1pm, triggered small slide on west aspect close to parking
