Observations

We toured up the Hex Mountain trail and stopped on the ridge at about ~4000'. We started about 9:30 and had increasingly good visibilty with partial clouds / sun and no wind to speak of. We dug on both West and North aspects at 3,950' and had pretty insignificant CT results - HS was 55cm. We were looking for the facets at the ground and found a few that looked facet-y but for the most part appeard to be rounding and could squeeze into a ball. There was plenty of evidence of wind transport and we opted to ski more protected aspects where the skiing was a little grabby but good overall!

Media

You can sort of make out a couple of angular grains (top center covering ice of "ice forms") but for the most part grains seem to be rounded/ing.
Lots of evidence of wind transport on the ridge at 4,000'
