Reported by another observer, crown was just over ridge edge onto N-facing slope, seemed to be ~30 yd along ridge

Dug a hasty pit on N-facing aspect on other side of bowl (towards ski area). 1.9 m of snow, 10 cm firm wind crust on top of fist-density snow almost to bottom. Ridge was scoured with cornices in both directions with firm crusts on N and E aspects
