Comments:
1st skier triggered small avalanche (8"-12") crown and was able to avoid getting caught in the slide. Second skier descended the same line after verbal confirmation from first skier and fell near the crown of the first slide, causing a second smaller propagation to occur, which carried the second skier approximately 100ft down slope. The carried skier is believed to have ruptured knee ligaments during the event. The party used his skis as a sled to get him down the steeper section of the slope. He was able to slowly skin back to the parking lot from the flatter valley bottom.

Party of four traveled up Table Mountain from the Heather Meadows lot. We left the trailhead around 10:20AM and ascended to 5700'. We observed widespread signs on wind loading including surface texture, shooting cracks and small propagations along the skin track. Noted varied snow textures in wind loaded areas, from firm snow to punchy crust and soft and fluffy snow. The riding was great until the avalanches occurred, one of our party is believed to have ruptured some knee ligaments in the slide but was able to (slowly) descend using skis as a sled.
