Observations

Various from point releases which entrained flanks. Ran up to 400 vertical, not full path. Smaller but more numerous size 1 wet loose on S to SE aspects of Mt. Herman. Less entrainment.

Advanced Observations

Observed Avalanche Problem #1: 
Wet Loose
Comments: 
No recent activity but warming trend around mid-day. Dug pit above 5 Minute, elevation 4,800' NE aspect, 160 cm deep. From top, fist hardness down to layer at 40 cm of 4 fingers with change in grain character to clear larger size possibly graupel which melted mid pack ( a guess) then consistent down to 100cm which appeared to be pre-storm crust which bonded well with new snow. CT- no results, ECT-X.
