Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

New snow was wet in the morning already with a slabby structure but not enough new to be too much concern. Couldn’t get any slabs to release on test slopes. 4-5” above the Valentine’s crust. Kicked decent sized rollers and pinwheels skiing steeper North aspects by 10:15 am. Natural activity started from snow dropping off the cliffs around 11:00 am. Called it an early day.
