Observations

It got sunny earlier than had been forecast but other than tree bombs there was little evidence of loose wet slides. The breeze may have kept surface snow from heating up and getting wet.

We skied the N and NW facing runs below Table and while there was evidence of wind-affected snow and 20+ mph winds blowing snow over Table, we didn't see cracking or other obs of wind slabs. In a few places where the slope was >45 degrees, the top 8-10 " of recent storm snow was sluffing, but it wasn't a coherent, stiff layer that would have indicated a wind slab, at least in that location.

It was nice running into Irene @ the top of Martha's Ladder too!
