Comments:
Set out on Granite Mountain Trail. Observed storm/wind avalanche hazard running down the chute known run as "i90 chute". 20 ft across and ran half a mile down from top of mtn down the chute. Slope angle on the trigger point 40-45 degrees.
Observed snow as heavy, loaded with freezing rain, and saturated. Weather temps on this day were mid-upper 30's and sunny most of the day.
The other south facing chutes on the mountains all had signs of avalanche hazard.

See comments section on my observation. Avoided all terrain with high degrees of slope angle. Observed snow as heavy, loaded with freezing rain, and saturated. Weather temps on this day were mid-upper 30's and sunny most of the day. The other south facing chutes on the mountain all had signs of avalanche hazard.
