Comments:
Silver basin had lots of evidence of slides from spring shedding- cliffs were almost all bare, some had slid and entrained snow that ran 400-600 feet. Clearly older activity, but not too many tracks in the basin as of recent.
Significant glide avalanche activity off three way peak, and we could see lots of older avalanches looking into packa, smoke, and bowla bowls in the crystal lake region. Some of the avalanches were glide activity that triggered deeper avalanches that ran 1000 plus feet.

Traveled into silver basin on Sunday 5/30. Snow coverage is excellent in the basin, snow was supportive and not overly wet from 5600 feet to the summit. Snow height at the mouth of the basin (5600 feet) was 185cm, and snow coverage went almost the the bottom of discovery lift at base of crystal.
Most south facing aspects have melted out, but the west and north facing aspects of silver basin and toward three way peak still hold a lot of snow. No major holes/streams/scree showing yet in the actual basin. Still some cornices yet to fall, but much melting/shedding has occurred all over the area.
