Observations

Storm totals from the 5/27 were up to 2’ above 8000’., about 6” at 5000’. We noted several natural storm slabs that ran during or shortly after the storm above treeline up to D2.5. Widespread wet loose cycle followed on 5/28 with natural and skier triggered activity continuing through the weekend. We got a second-hand report of a skier who was caught and carried in a large natural wet loose while egressing from El Dorado Peak at approximately 5000’ on 5/28.
