Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Still snow from lot. Snow bridges are wearing thin and a lot of narrow crossings between trees. Snow was very soft and sticky from the lot to the top, only firmness/ice crust in persistently shaded areas. Skin track did occasionally slide out on lower foot through big trees/lower scott a few times. Bootpacked last bit upto the pass; it's cut in nice and was faster and burned less energy than those skinning up the final portion.

Staggering to see the breadth of debris from the Chair Peak slide earlier this year.
