We observed plenty of wet loose avalanche debris at a scramble trip to Cowboy Mountain and Big Chief. The snow was soft with a firmer under layer, which made ideal glissading conditions but also very easy to trigger wet loose avalanches. After triggering a few small slides, we decided to forgo glissading on the open ski slopes because of this. When glissading, we triggered a few snow rollers as well.
