Observations

Parked at 2,600ft where Canyon Creek Rd. and Whistler Creek Rd. meet. Raining at that elevation.
Traveled to the end of Whistler Creek Rd. and then up to 5,300ft. Mixed snow and rain between 3,000-4,000ft. Above 4,000ft there was about 6in. of new snow on top of 6in. of slush.
Low visibility, calm wind and moderate to heavy snowfall throughout the day. Conditions were fun!
We saw another group that had traveled higher and they reported lots of avalanche activity (natural and human triggered) within the new storm snow.
