Observations

Traveled to the summit of ellinor and skied the north chute. Significant wind affected snow at the entry and upper chute that had received solar input yesterday and created a firm melt freeze layer. Middle of the chute was soft wind buff, and the lower section was frozen. All was edgeable. The forecasted sunshine did not materialize and solar slopes had not softened much by 12.

Very busy up there today.
