Carefully skied some of the east facing avalanche slopes in Mitchell Creek at around ~5500ft. Conditions ranged from icy, to dust-on-crust, to pure fun powder conditions. Snow didn't feel wind slabby, but I did break a layer off on a 40-ish-degree face around here which shows some potential wind slab activity indeed.
Traveled up to the bowl at ~5800ft, skied down along the creek to ~5200ft. These slopes were more south facing, closer to noon, had some sun affect including our turns sending down some rollers and at the very top of the bowl some rollers that went fairly far (~100ft or so on 15-20deg terrain) from the skiers in the resort above us.
Skinned up Vista Ridge to maybe ~6200, the ridge itself was extremely extremely wind affected, crusty surface with occasional hard fresh slabs but most of the fresh snow was in scattered streaks.
