Skied the Colchuck Glacier Sunday 4/11. The Dragontail area didn't pick up much snow from the last storm, maybe 1-2 inches but the zone did get the winds. Most of the zone looked very scoured with only isolated areas holding somewhat enjoyable skiing. No signs of instability even within lee aspects where there was 4-6 inches of wind effected powder. No recent avalanched observed. Sun effect was present on south faces up high but the cold temps kept south faces around 8k pretty solid when I booted up to the summit of Colchuck around 2pm. The souths were softening but had a long way to go before being able to produce a loose wet slide.
