Comments:
Sunrise Ridge, Hurricane Ridge, Olympic Nat. Park. Crowns of 6 inches to a foot of new snow from last nights storm and blow in. Was not bonding with the freeze melt crust from the last few sunny days. Temp was about 22 degrees at 10am, with very light wind at the time, evidence of stronger wind overnight. Snow quality was great, even in the sun for April. In the shade it skied perfect with no crust from the midweek storm that put down about a foot of new with calf deep blower pow.! First 3 runs slid, 1 a usual suspect, 2 a sometimes slider and 3 I have never seen slid at that spot. All the pictures are of the out of bounds side of the Hurricane Ridge Ski Area that is now closed for the season
