Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Toured from Paradise (~5,400 ft) around Inspiration Point, up to Pan Point and by McClure Rock (~7,200ft), down Skyline Route to Fourth Crossing. Snow was stable, but becoming sticky and heavy towards 4pm. Signs of roller balls from previous days. A few new rollerballs and pinwheels observed around 3pm at ~6,000 feet. Major cornice failures starting to occur near Pan Point (see picture, note skiers / snowshoers for size reference).
