Touring mazama bowl and over and over to Stoneman Colour and saw snow condition rapidly softening up around 1pm on the NE aspect. Roller balls and big chunks were giving out everywhere. Approx d2.5 wet loose avalanche triggered on a 40 degree slope at 4800ft and slid down to approx 4000ft in a gully system. Skier on the slope was able to ski out of the avalanche path. Emphasis on the rapid condition changes and depth of the changes in snowpack.
