Observations

Terrain: Traveled out of Crystal Springs snowpark over the powerlines and along road 41 toward Easton

Avalanche: Plenty of recent rollerballing and maybe some fresh ones during my time out. Also noticed a few Glide cracks, one of which may have gotten bigger during my trip. Hard to tell. Noticed some small wind drifts on the groomed trail and some textured surfaces, but no actual wind slabs.

Snowpack: Generally strong upper snowpack, with multiple crusts above the more prominent 3/18 interface. Did find the remnants of some buried SH at the 3/24 interface on a North facing slope, but was moist, healing quickly, and had encouraging test results. Surfaces contained a breakable crust in the morning before softening by mid-day, producing fun riding conditions.

Weather: Had a little bit of everything today. It's definitely spring. Light snow showers, possibly light rain/mist, cloudy weather, and periods of bright sunshine. Overall a nice day to be out riding around and exploring an area of the zone I don't often visit.

Media

Glide cracks, no snow in the trees, and rollerballing. All evidence of springtime and solar input.
Fresh small Wind Drifts on the side of the groomed trail and some textured surfaces just out of view. Indicators that Wind Slabs could exist on specific terrain features
Our two major layers of concern. The 3/24 interface was more reactive in pit tests
