~~ [Storm slab snow is slightly unstable on all aspects] ~~
I was out on table mt (dropping below the chimney) yesterday afternoon and released a 6in layer on the North aspect at 4.6k ft, when I intentionally sliced the an upper layer before dropping. The face was 40-45* and maybe 15-20ft wide and rolled 300ft or so, more of a soft slide that's didn't accumulate.
Earlier on Huntoon, I cut sections of 10ft x 2ft x 1ft cornice on a 35* slope and it didn't cause any movement.
Visibility was lot, my pictures didn't turn out.

At 4k ft east facing plane.
After digging down I noticed a 6in layer, 1in sun affected hard snow layer, then 8-10in layer, below layer was more consistent in the location I was vetting.
