Traveled via sled from 2200ft to 4200ft, moderate snowfall, no wind, low visibility.
Skinned to 4900ft on mostly south facing BTL terrain. There was anywhere from 4-9 inches of fresh snow on top of an edge-able crust. New snow was slowly bonding to the old snow. Continued moderate snowfall throughout the day. Light winds above 4800ft.
Probed to the ground in several places, varied from 230-250+cm.
Riding conditions were fun and probably best described as noisy pow. We released a couple very small sluffs while riding.
6-7 inches of snow fell during the day above 3000ft. Snow had switched to rain when we returned to the truck (2200ft) around 4pm.
Hard to beat a pow day on the first day of spring!
