Comments:
Saw multiple WL avalanches from today and even more from previous days. Most were small (D1) but as we exited, we watched one release which looked to borderline D2. Probably D1.5. was on a steep slope in direct sunshine, originating up near a cliff band.

Plenty of rollerballs, small WL, and some cornices of various sizes were observed. Dry snow still on slopes that don't see direct sunshine. We saw one older wind slab avalanche from the past week which broke up near the base of some crocks. Slopes that do see direct sunshine were primed for human-triggered WL when we crossed a few around 2:30.
High clouds made their way into the zone, but it was still mostly blue skies, plenty of sunshine, and warm temperatures. Beautiful day for a walk.
