Didn't see recent obvious instabilities along path to Kendall Knob #1. Was confident in lack of observed instability that my snowshoe partner and I cut a road switchback that was over 35 degrees in areas around (47.4237, -121.3895).
We observed large snow shower dropping graupel snow (M, PPgp) between 13:00 and 15:00.
Noted some small cornices starting to form, textured wind flowing from S-SE angles, and wind fetch in areas at/near Kendall Knob #1 and higher.
Wanted to go over to Kendall Knob #2, but the Coal Creek crossing was too deep (5'+). Our view was obscured (X), so we didn't get a chance to look at the snow conditions more closely near Kendall Knob #2.
Lower elevation snow under the trees was unconsolidated/slush.
