Evidence of wet loose slides on the East aspect of Pea Gravel ridge just above treeline. Picture is not great but you can see two point release wet slides that *appear* to have been triggered by skiers, most likely the day before (Sunday).

Dug a hasty pit at approximately 2000m level, E aspect, slope angle approximately 30 degrees: roughly 1 m of wind slab on top of the rain crust from last month, that seems to be healing (though I would defer to expert opinion on this). At mid-day, snow was heavy but skiable. No significant rollerball activity at the time, but due to warm temps I expect wet slide risk increased significantly in the afternoon.
