Observations

Toured up to the Tilly Jane A-Frame and throughout the day, the weather became quite warm and the snow became very wet and sun affected. We avoided terrain over 35 degrees. At the higher elevations, the new snow stayed colder and drier providing really fun riding. At lower elevations the new snow became quite saturated with water and was really grabby when skiing down. Noticed cornice fall and roller balls on south facing aspects off of many of the ridges in the area.
