We observed an old slide that likely ran during the most recent avalanche cycle and has been partially refilled with new snow. The width of the crown is about 10-20 feet wide and appears to have depth of about one foot. It is likely the result significant wind loading.

We traveled primarily on 25-30 degree slopes on a N aspect between 4800’-5400’and did not experience any signs of instability. A short section of our exit took us through 35 degree trees at 4200’ with no overhead exposure. During this steep section we did not experience sluffing or other signs of instability. We observed were wind transport had occurred burying the old skin track on wind exposed sections.
