3 Small soft slab of last night's snow slid on yesterdays refrozen surface snow. Small terrain feature used as test slope on an unsupported convexity in sheltered trees.

Observations

Pleasant travel conditions with intentions to asses the new snow's bond on yesterday's crust. Observed shooting cracks on many unsupported terrain features >25deg. Yesterday's warming and sun affected snow resulted in a crust acting as bed surface for this storm's snow.
