We heard large whump from slope above us while in island of safety. Visibility was poor but we could see multiple small d1/d2 slides and fractures. One side had ~4ft or so crown.

Snow was very deep 3ft+ or so in most places. We stayed below tree line avoiding North aspects and anything above 20 degrees. Several visible D1/D2 slides and fractures were seen after we heard the whump. Visibility was poor so we couldn't see high enough to determine the exact size of the slide.. Given the volume and debris from lower slides we believe there was larger slide above what we could see.
