Observations
No evidence of instabilities observed. Older crowns were visible on ridgelines. Snowpack was rightside up in this area with ~18" of F to 4f snow on top of 1F. The top ~18 inches was relatively dense while skiing and I assume this was from wind. Column tests consistently failed after 23 hits at ~18 inches with poor shear quality. Also dropped a small cornice onto an open slope with no reaction.
