Observations

NNE aspect of "Bojangle ridge" at approx. 4590', below the communication tower. Very light wind and high hazy clouds with some light snow. Wind transported snow primarily on a leeward side of the ridge with deep pillowy features. Heard a few whumps and saw isolated cracks. Turned back at around 5100'. Windward parts of the ridge had a few feet of dry powdery snow on a nonexistent base.
