Traveled from Summit East over to the lower slopes of Mount Catherine. Lots of very low density snow in areas that weren't wind stripped (~45cm down to the first firm layer) with a consistent mid-storm layer ~10-14 cm down. This layer consistently slid in the corners of steeper kick turns throughout the day, but the snow was generally not cohering into a slab for this to propagate further. In more wind exposed areas a few small cracks were observed within the storm snow along with very obvious firm wind affected snow overlying much softer layers immediately below.
