Comments:
Was on a guided trip today where I triggered a wind slab that triggered a dry loose/sluff slide. Propagated 100-150 ft. 6ish inches deep. 10 ft wide at start zone, 50 ft at bottom. Carried me for 5-10ft. Triggered my air bag (BD Jetforce), but it ended up being unnecessary, still glad I pulled it!

Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Winds were howling on SW aspects of east peak. Cement basin was very sheltered and we did not observe wind slabs.
