Observations

Toured down the road on Bennett Pass. Majority of test slopes, steeper than 30 degrees, failed above and below the road. Propagation and remote triggering were common on steep slopes on all aspects.

Digging and pole probing indicated a relatively uniform density snowpack compared to the widespread shooting cracks and propagation on our test slopes.

Toured .5 miles down the road and turned around after seeing test slope results.
