Observations

Felt stability was good with a good bond to a generally strong 1/13 crust (hand shears) where buried greater than about 10". Variable conditions with wind and sun; evidence of recent slabs obvious but also apparently settled now with no hollow feeling, and limited testing showed a strong, settled slab not reactive to ski tests . Nonethless, skied smaller terrain even with some steep slopes. Did not bet the farm on predictive abilities.

Sunnier and wind exposed areas have a shallower snow pack with obvious faceting/depth hoar. Only a small amount of loose and faceted recent snow covers the crust in these areas. Likely to present a good sliding surface in sufficient new snow falls on top.
