Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Dug on NNW aspect 5400' to investigate 01/13 PWL and 02/04 density interface. Snowpack was rightside up and skiing well. Skies scattered. S-1. Surface consolidation w/ small roller balls on solars in PM, N side of compass was cold and dry.

02/04 interface down 40cm CT29SC , CT30SC

01/13 layer performed several nonstandard tests:
Two "CT" w/ 150cm column over LoC. No Results.
One "ECT" w/ 150cm column over LoC. No Results.
Planar shear after sticking my shovel blade behind all columns.
