Signs of Unstable Snow

Did you see shooting cracks?
Yes, Isolated
Did you experience collapsing or whumpfing?
Yes, Widespread

Observations

This was a n-ne aspect. We ski cut the slope first, then threw a hand charge about 75ft downhill of this start zone. Nothing moved with the ski cut, but the entire surrounding area whumphed when the charge went off and the entire slope above the charge fractured into 3-5ft blocks creating a d2 avalanche.
