Observations

Intentionally triggered with small cornice drop by party ahead of us. Unknown failure plane but looked like 1/13 PWL. ENE Blue Bell Pass/Crown Pt, size D2.5, 2-3+ft thick, 250ft wide, ran 700 ft close to valley bottom. This slope is a frequent producer, but this particular wind slab was one of the more thick and nasty ones I've seen the last few years. Also observed recent natural slabs in gully immediately to the north of this, as well as potentially a large-very large slab on the NE asp of Pickhandle Point.
