Observations

Skied both Saturday and Sunday on multiple aspects/elevations throughout Hogsback and Gunsight Basins. Noted a significant change between Saturday and Sunday in the thickness and stiffness of slabs. On West, NW and North aspects above the tree line noted wide spread wind loading and widespread shooting cracks as well as easy slab propogation in skin track tests. Skied east facing aspects with a strong wind in our face and snow that was scoured down to hard crust in places. Given all sign of spicy conditions we did not dig a pit and kept our terrain choices mellow.

The only other party we saw on Sunday reported that they triggered a slab with a 8" deep and approximately 100' crown.
