Toured Elk Mountain and Bluegrass Ridge from HRM. Experienced whumpfing in some wind affected portions of Bluegrass Ridge. No other signs of instability. Skied the burn area to Elk Meadow. New snow was fun and heavy PNW pow, with a rain crust and shallow logs underneath. Creek crossings were thin and muddy.
