Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Snow felt “spooky” at 4,800 ft on sw treed face. Dug pit and confirmed spook level - CT 2! Q1.5. failing 30 cm down on a crust. We repeated the test and confirmed the CT 2. ECT produced no results. We decided to play it safe and ski down through treed terrain, connecting back to our up track.
