Skied the north and south faces of The Castle in the Tatoosh on Saturday. We observed some small north-facing cornices. We dug a pit on a north-face slope at approximately 5700ft of elevation. CT19, with the failure occurring approximately 50cm deep on facets/sugar snow on top of what we assume was the 1/13 crust. The slab seemed to stick to the crust after the failure on the facets. ECTX on the extended column.
