Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

We traveled to about 7500 ft in the Silverstar Basin, just east of the Burgundy Col. Contrary to the forecast, snow began falling early in the morning, and there was no wind even above tree line. In terms of snow, travel was slow but the snow was very fluffy , almost sugary. The skiing was fantastic and the visibility was good enough. No signs of instability noticed.
