Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Skied north, north west aspects of Tronsen Head in Blewett pass area on 1/30 and 1/31. Our party did not observe any shooting cracks are whumpfing in the area. Rain crust noticeable 12-18” down. 1/30 snow was noticeably lighter than 1/31. Raining at the highway morning of 1/31 and wet snow and winds picking up throughout the day. Skied mostly low angle terrain, one run was approaching 35º, no signs of instability on this slope (heavily treed however)
