Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

I assume dry loose, on one of the avalanche chutes going towards the lake, the texture of the snow was different from the other two major chutes. All chutes had evidence of previous sluffing prior to last snow. All on edges of the chutes. The other chutes exhibited a bit more cohesive layer.
If the chute with different texture had full sun, I would not have crossed.

Advanced Observations

Observed Avalanche Problem #1:
Dry Loose
Comments:
~6-8 inches sitting on icy crust.
Snow not as cohesive as the other chutes.
Located last mile to lake
I believe it is the the 2nd major chute
