Comments:
Tiny slab avalanche triggered in the 1-2 inches of snow on top of the 1/12 crust. Was very small, crown was about 1 inch, and did not run far. This was triggered at the top of a small chute on the way down from gem lake to snow lake. The snow was unconsolidated on north aspects, but appeared to have formed into a very small slab from sun exposure on the south aspects in this area.

Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Sun was warming the south aspects heavily, with some very small roller balls observed towards mid-afternoon. North aspects remained unchanged above ~4000 ft.
