Observations

Warm temps on Thursday lead to more crusts in most areas on Friday. Southern slopes softened in the afternoon before temperatures began dropping again. Travel along ridges and through wooded areas is currently icy and filled with many new wind features from last weeks storms. For the weekend, treat the snow pack with more of a spring mindset. firm in the morning but could produce loose wet slides in the afternoon.
