Took a tour to check out the new snow. 20cm sitting on SH, a quick pit revealed about the first 10cm quite saturated, stiff upper layer grading to less dense colder snow below. Column test failed on 12 at the SH 20cm down, did not displace. Aspect 070, elevation 5600, temp above freezing, overcast, as noted, a point release ran about 700 ‘ involving only the latest surface snow. Ski penetration 5cm. slow going on wet surface.
