None reported

Observations

5000 ft elevation SW aspect on the NE side of chair peak. Snow pack was stable throughout column test but did shear along the prominent ice layer ~3ft down when the column was pulled on hard from behind after the test. There is also a ~3-4 ft glide crack forming on the saddle between chair peak and its east ridge at ~ 5400 ft. We booted up past the glide crack and appeared stable but may release on a warm/rainy day.
